Attraverso le pagine di Twitter, l’account ufficiale dei The Game Awards ha annunciato che nel corso dell’evento, che si terrà il 12 dicembre 2019, saranno divulgate al pubblico nuove informazioni su Gears of War Tactics. Ambientato dodici anni dopo gli eventi di Gears of War 1, il gioco proporrà un gamelay basato su attacchi a turni, con una squadra ed equipaggiamenti personalizzabili.
Gears of War Tactics è in sviluppo su PC.
